Business Process Outsourcing, Transformation and Transition (60 months)
MTC required support in delivering a business-critical process outsourcing, transformation and transition programme for the Ministry of Justice (MoJ). We worked with the Managing Director and Chief Information Officer to develop MTC’s business in the UK and drive business change, process outsourcing, transformation and transition for London and Thames Valley Community Rehabilitation Companies (CRCs).
Cloud-First End User Compute (24 months)
MTC required a secure, end user compute solution to replace an outsourced Microsoft Office 365 solution. We were engaged to lead the business case, supplier review, design and implementation. We reviewed the solution and business needs; gained board approval to insource solution; led design of a zero-trust solution using a SaaS based model; and managed full lifecycle of the project in line with stringent timelines. We succeeded in implementing the solution on time and at a third of the cost of the outsourced solution.
Probation Case Management and Risk Assessment System (36 months)
MTC were contracted by the MoJ to provide a replacement Case Management System for London and Thames Valley CRCs. Rocket & Cloud were engaged to develop the strategy and deliver the solution. We gained approval for a cloud-first IT Strategy. We selected an application developer and hosting consultancy to design, build and support the Case Management and Risk Assessment application. We led cloud hosting proof of concept; selected AWS as cloud provider; and gained buy in from the client to implement a secure solution in the AWS London region. We succeeded in implementing the solution which gained government accreditation, PSN, and ISO27001 certification, including hosting of sensitive data – a first in the UK. MTC’s application, known as Omnia, was cited as being ‘innovative’ and ‘improving the quality of work’ in an independent government inspection.
